This evening, I jailbroke a 3.1.2 iPhone with blackra1n. I then put cydia on it and sent my info up to the servers. Then I installed backgrounder, but after the reboot, I got the connect to iTunes logo.

When I try to restore 3.1.2, it says I'm not authorized. Checked my ECID in Umbrella, and it says it can't be found on Saurik's servers.

how long does it take for my ECID to be published on Saurik's server? I'm hoping that it just hasn't processed yet, otherwise, I'm screwed.

Thanks in advance to those who answer.

    try reading this: http://modmyi.com/forums/3g-s-downgr...jailbroke.html

Since 3.1.2 ECID SHSH files can no longer be generated by Apple, Saurik won't have your ECID SHSH on file. I can't confirm personally if the above works, but it's worth a shot. Good Luck =]

Unless you did it when 3.1.2 was the current new firmware then you are out of luck. Once the signing of the firmware is over by Apple then it is over.

you cant have shsh for 3.1.2 as apple has stopped signing 3.1.2. so thats a bad luck for you.

I thought this was the reason why we sent up our info to Saurik's servers so that we can point our computer to his machines to do the verification?

But saurik can't get your verification if Apple no longer provides it anymore. It's a future preventative measure. For example.. Apple is signing the 3.1.3 firmware files currently so saurik can grab these and store them.. if you accidentally upgrade in the FUTURE to 3.1.4 or 3.2 or whatever.. .this will give you a way to downgrade back to 3.1.3.

That's why when I got my 3.1.3 last week I used Umbrella and uploaded mine to Saurik. Even though I can't jailbreak now, I'm hoping for a solution in the near future. It's always a good idea to try and have a backup plan. You may never know when you may need it.
