    Hi,

I have the iphone 3GS with the new bootrom (serial 4 5 digits are 4,2). I'm running currently on firmware 3.1.2. I did a jailbreak a while back and have a tethered one at that. Is there any way i can upgrade my software to the iOS4?? I dont mind loosing the jailbreak... so shud i just restore to factory settings and then upgrade my phone thru itunes? Can i do a jailbreak after that?? please advice!

Just press restore in Itunes , it will restore your iphone to iOS 4.0. There is no jailbreak at iOS 4.0 for new bootrom at the moment.
