My understanding is most people want to use their iphone with their ps3 via bluetooth which cant be done because one of the devices offers limited bluetooth connectivity. ( which one? ) People wanted to use their iphones as keypads, controllers, etc.

I was hoping someone could make an app that connects via wifi or usb and all i want it to do is share media to the playstation.

Any added functionality would obviously be nice but i would love to easily share my media with my friends on their tv instead of my iphone.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Heres some of my ideas.. im not sure how all this works so bear with me.

Use mywi to connect the PS3 to the iphone, and then run an app on the iphone that turns it into a mediaserver that the ps3 will recognize.

Make an app to make the ps3 see the iphone as an external hard drive

Its looking like the only way to get this to work would be to trick the playstation into thinking the iphone is something its not.
