Is it possible to develop an application that:

    1) Read the current brightness level, stores it to disk.

    2) User change brightness at Preferences.app

    3) User run again the Brightness Toggle and it reads the new current brightness level from the system, stores it to disk and then load the previous saved brightness level.

I think that using some part of the Flashlight.app may be useful since it do something like what I'm suggesting.

    Is it too much work?

    Thanks in advance!

First of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum. Is there any way to change it to the right location?

Yes, I know how to change Brightness...

Well, it's kind of annoying goin through Preferences Brightness... I was wondering an one-click app to toggle my settings...

I use often the Books.app at night, with the Brightness at minimum... In the morning I change it back to my custom. The Auto-Brightness setting doesnt work well in my opinion...

Can it be done by the command line? In that case, can I just create a batch to run it?

    Thanks again!

I posted code on how to change brightness before.

This might also be good to toggle outside/inside brightness if you don't like auto-brightness.

I'll try to mod my RainbowLight into a simple toggle app.

Ok, now I found it! Thank you very much! I'll check out the code and see if I can get it to work. I've never done programming for iPhone/Mac in my live.
