I am looking for a similar app to the one used on my Android phone called Gtunes. It allows you to search, preview, download and save to music library any music. Anything like that possible for the iPhone? The app was free and so are the downloads.

I do not believe there are any apps that support what you are trying to do. What you need to do is go to a YouTube to MP3 converter, put the MP3 into your iTunes library, right click the song in your library, convert to AAC, plug your iPhone/iPod in and sync.

Why the need to convert to AAC? All my iTunes music is formatted to mp3.

I had this problem today with MP3 vs. AAC. When I would try and sync the song from my library onto my phone it would say it couldn't because my phone cannot play this type of file, but converting it to AAC fixed this problem.

The one I use is Mewseek in Cydia! That's the only one I know that works but it's $9.99
