How many of you get these MMS messages from friends and family

"I sent you a multimedia message. You can view my message via the internet at viewmymessage.com using Msg ID n033grEya40 Password yule20yikes"

Opening them from safari on iphone rarely works and if you do manage it, you had to jump back to the msg from the home button to read the username like 6 times in the process. The veiwmymessage.com page seems better geared for IE6 or 7 since thats the only browser that reliably lets you logon once you've managed to type in the correct userID and password as convoluted as they are.

Anyone up to the challenge of creating a REAL MMS app that works with other iPhones AND other non-apple MMS phones that can send photos? I'd pay $5 paypal for that app. Hell $10. At least they could have done is make the text message a hyperlink that fills in the info in safari for you to facilitate logging in from your iphone!

Dude I just got two of these yesterday but I haven't bothered to look at them because I remember how much of a hassle it is from back when I got one a while ago.

How the hell could Apple seriously release this thing and not give it MMS capabilities? So lame.

Yeah add me to the list... I'd gladly pay $80 for a MMS app that enabled me to send/receive picture messages. We should start a paypal account for the first developer to successfully write such an app.

I think a link would be more feasible at the moment. I hope someone with the "know-how" sees this. I would pay too!

There's sort of an solution if it's possible to port WM5\6 apps over too the MacOS operating system as Navizon did for the iPhone. If we can port over the Arcsoft MMS app from Windows Mobile devices to the iPhone, then this would be very sweet.
    - iPhone 8gig and 16gig 3G - 3.0 - JailBroken + Unlocked to T-Mobile Unlimited Plan & Total Internet Plan.
    - iPod Touch - UnJailBroken
    - XBOX 360 - Modded Firmware - XBL (my s/n)
    - XBOX - Software Modded - XBMC
    - Dell Inspiron 1521 - [B]Vista Ultimate and
running Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.5.4 (YES! Mac OS on an Dell PC)

Please this is the most wanted app.

I love my iphone but the lack of a video camera is acceptable but dumb.

The lack of sending/recieving MMS is just moronic and I will donate to anyone who can fix it.

Please Please PLEASE someone take this!

phone and text stuff will most likely be locked down when sdk is out, so youre prob gonna have to wait for apple to release the app.

w00t! Looking forward to more info on the link provided above. I'm sure we'll see a massive increase in these more complex programs once the SDK is released.

Tonight I was watching the show CHUCK and they all use iPhone on the show. Chuck, the main character, RECIEVED a MMS picture message. It was nice and simple like the text message pop up but looked different in the way the graphics were... It was "View" and "Ignore" or something like that but bigger than the normal text message pop up, but definitely looked Apple-esk. Anyone have any insight into whether this maybe Apple giving CHUCK advance info/updates or is it just the visual effects people having fun with a nifty little gadget on a spy show?
