    hey guys, i just updated my facebook to 3.1.1 and Im getting weird push notifications on my screen page. weird notification, as in people that i dont know.
    When i click on the facebook icon and check on the notification.. nothing, just my notifications.

    I uninstalled it and installed again, still

    Its an unlocked iphone 3.1.2.

    Just wanted to see if anyone is having the same problem

    updated to 3.1.2, no weird notifications so far

    update: 3.1.2 still sending random notifications. Turned them off until they figure out their 'bugs'

    same problem here, it's wierd. Hopefully the next update should fix it. My friend has an ipod touch and they get personal push notifications from facebook to their phone (it's not unlocked/jailbroken and stock). So maybe has something to do with unlocking and jailbreaking the phone.

    I'm also have this issue on my iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 Jailbroken. I get around 5 of these random notifications a day. Ive also gotten random notifications with Beejive which I bought from the App Store. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling these apps.

    seems like alot of people are getting the same thing. hopefully 3.1.3 would fix that.. for now, push is off for facebook

    You guys probably use the Push fix from Cydia (or the web) for hacktivated phones. The things you guys describe are well documented for a while now and are unavoidable with this kind of fix. You basically share the same authentication certificate for push notifications with everyone, that has this package installed.

    There is a workaround, but it requires you to have somebody with a legit activated phone to provide you with the certifications and a little technical knowledge to follow the instructions properly.

    Personally I don't have any experience with this, but friends of mine have used this successfully, so I'm sure it works, if it's done correctly.

    So, I'm still getting these random push notifications, I haven't recieved ONE of my own push notifications from Beejive (Legit) or Facebook. iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 JB with Legit Activation (Bell in Ontario). I really have no clue how to fix this, please help, Thanks.
