My dad will get one cheaper for me. His friend owns his own dealership. I'm paying for half anyway

even with really really good credit?
OMG I wish I was 14 again the sky is the limit. Dream big, It's what keeps you going..... it's a good thing. Just be ready for reality when you go to sign the papers that you can't sign

My Stepfather was the GM of the biggest dealership in town and took whatever he traded in and brought it home for not a dime more, even so he still couldn't get me in a car at 16 for longer than 24 months and more than $8k for a USED car. That was in the 90's bro. They are much harder now.

Drove a couple T1.8 but never really opened them up. My VW GTI VR6 was very nice for stock.

But I only owned one car that had a turbo. Mitsubishi Starion.
Dude mine t1.8 can hold its on very well in the lower gears with most mustangs and such but after 3 they pull a way i am sure if i moded it and gave it 9psi of boost it would be a pretty sweat sleeper

juan1; Audis are just sexy all performaced out.
Ever since Audi bought Lamborghini in the early-mid 2k's they have stepped up their high end game, but the reality is that as they have improved Lambo's driveline, they have stolen the technology from their sister company and brought it over to the R8 division.

If you didn't already know, you need to put a timing belt on vw's about every 60000 miles. So if yours has more miles and hasn't been done yet. Do it they notorious for timing belts.

Oh yeah, just love them, the R-8 is just sexy as hella Always loved the LED daytime driving lights too
Don't think I seen a R8 around. But if I went into the cities I might see one. Spring comes around all the high end cars come out. Saw a Masariti(Not sure of spelling) not long ago.

The town I live in one of the best VW/Audi shops in the cities so naturally I get to see a ton of them.

Y'all do realize that Audi and Lamborghini (along with Bentley and Bugatti) are owned by VW, right (and they're going to swallow up Porsche SE in a merger soon)?

/prepares for epic flames to emerge from TV screen

EDIT: VW's timing belts have always sucked. When will they wise up and go with a chain-type system (like BMW and... Subaru?)

Volkswagen has been the most progressive company of the late 00's. They have an impressive resume and are poised to be on track for #1 parent company for a long time to come.

That said, I can't stand anything they make. I love some of their sibling companies though .Ownership in the auto world doesn't mean much, as they keep the lines separate.
