Have you Ever been to Oklahoma you can ask cer0 you haven't experienced bad weather till you live a year or two in oklahoma
I grew up in Oklahoma's 110 constant heat for weeks at a time. But this 3 days of 100+ degrees up here with this stupid humidy sucks bad. Glasses fogging up every time I head outside. Your soaking the instant you get outside.

But I can live with 3 days of hot compared to the weeks of it in a row. By thursday should be back down into the mid 80s they say.

Of course the tides turn in the winter. West should try the winter here. -30 wind chills and barely getting above 10 for a week or so.

That part took getting used to coming from Oklahoma for 19 years.

Yeah I couldn't imagine that but Oklahoma weather is just so crazy because we get the cold from the north and heat from the south it can be 80 and sunny then in 24 hours be snowing and 30 degrees out

I spent 1 year in Lawton (Ft Sill) watching the hundreds mostly fly overhead

Well, Well Mes. When was that? I lived in Lawton.

Speaking of Tornados. We got one going on in a county just north of here right now.

Most go to Ft. Sill for Basic but that is normally longer than a year. Special visit?

My 1 year in Lawton was for AIT. if you're not familiar with the term, it's the 4 (or more) month training immediately after basic training

I kinda miss the tornadoes (not really). During my time there, none ever touched down but drifted overhead. I'm a bit older (and wiser) now, and realize I was just lucky

    We were neighbors
