That's a huge commitment to buy a vehicle for a "new job", I suggest buying used for sure (someone else eats up the 25 to 30 % depreciation when you drive it off the showroom floor). There are also Extended Cab trucks that have plenty back seat room for the family that may cost less to buy, drive and park. Crew cabs are long and tough to park sometimes.
If your not brand specific, do your homework, look around, get a carfax, negociate the hella out the deal, bring your own financing (your bank or credit union as dealers rape the heck out of you on points/interest/loans they provide).
    Good luck buddy.

It's all about the details, concept and presentation. With a white vehicle, use contrasting color (match interior) for engine bay, undercarriage, suspention etc.
Don't want to over do it, less is more....
Top to bottom, haz to be able to eat off it. Best of luck.
I'm a huge fan of less is more, so at most car shows I don't place. I hate flashy tasteless mods. And I need more explanation on the bolded. Are you saying match the interior with the body color or with the contrasting color? I actually want to have the face of my wheels painted candy teal and the lips polished. Or, if I can ever find some BBS RSs that need TLC, I want to have the faces candy teal still, but the lips a gold.

    Got any pics of it?
Starting with most recent to back about a year, images are attached (EDIT: These got out of order when I attached. Badgeless grill pics are the newest). The last one of just the taillights, are my current taillights.

Really maybe I am looking at the wrong places or maybe they are fully loaded or something. If I had my choice id pick a dodge just don't want to go broke. Going to go look at a 2010 Dakota Friday. Has 38k on it but that's nothing compared to my 130k Jetta lol

Its a fun car. My next vehicle will be RWD though. Maybe a Mustang; I like the new models. I like the FR-S/ BR-Z, but don't know if I want another small coupe. I would love to have a RWD sedan, but other than BMW, those aren't terrible easy to find. Pontiac had to go and shut down after those wonderful G8 GT and G8 GXP models.

I'd like to see pics of the interior, engine bay and undercarriage.
White is always tough to do and make it stand out, has to be a WoW factor, not just a clean/detailed car with a ton of bolt on goodies.
Your wheel idea is a good start.

They were Holden built (Australian) vehicles, and agree, a shame. You can still get them from down under, but shipping would kill the average person.

Not beating you up, what it's going to take is money and imagination.
    IMHO
Sub woofer box; looks like a box, no form, no contour, ewww get rid of it. Blue paint matches nothing on the car, but if as you say you will coat your wheels the same color, then make a custom box and cover it with leather/ette to match.
Seats, custom upholstery/ color stitching or better yet Sparco or Corbeau seats and then have your back seats upholstered similar and 4 or 5 point racing harness belts. Follow up seat design with door panels too.
Follow through in the engine bay/suspension/undercarriage with your chosen accent color.
    Want more? Let me know.

We don't build to many tuner type cars, but here is one we did years ago to give you an idea about coloring and audio.

You have to think, what is going to make my car stand out from 50 others stock vehicles with suspension mods and wheels.

Box was actually the first thing I bought for the car three years ago, and it actually matched the wheels I had on it at the time. I've been meaning to either make a falsefloor with one 12" or have one made.

And the seats, I haven't decided if I want to get Clazzio leather covers or get some Rocaros. Obviously Recaros cost much more, but I have a stigma against seat covers whether they fit well enough to actually look like a leather seat or not. I can't do a harness bar though because I carry passengers in the back very regularly. Don't need someone hitting their head on it.

I also have a spare valve cover that I want to paint (it is currently black). Haven't decided what color though.

And the wheels in case you were curious:
