While I agree with you, that Apple should let us do what we want with our phones - here is fair warning - you will absolutely hate Android OS. If you're going to make the jump make sure to go to the "pure android OS" with the Nexus products. Though I think I've heard that if you "root" any Android phone you can load on the pure Google Android OS. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh my goodness. So there's a "randomly off topic thread" with salacious material on it.. "Bo's bruised boob" - my goodness - how did I never see this thread before..
Welcome. We've all been here for years.

Hopefully the new iPhone will be mind blowing and make a good run with it.

Make sense. Don't get me wrong I love the iPhone its just the fact that I pay $800 for the phone and apple wont allow me to do what I want with my phone!!! Its really frustrating specially once you JB is hard to go back to regular iOS....

Most Android device manufacturers actually aren't friendly to rooting (no carrier wants to offer a phone that can bypass tethering charges almost out of the box). It's just that Android devices don't get enough updates, so once one is rooted it's usually rooted for a very long time. I'm not sure if Google Nexus products are meant to be rootable.

Ok fine. My Tit is feeling better today (has a nice purplish color to it, matches my shoes, lol) and a good thing too. Because it's Bike Week.

One of my favorite times of year here. So much to do, so many people, concerts, rides (cruises), parties and craziness in general. Good clean fun
Taking off time from work. Yippee...

    Do you ride? Whatchagot?
Ahhh, I had a variety from rice rockets to Bonneville to HD. But sadly I sold them all when my first child was born. It was an agreement with the wife. But I still got the GTO, and I will have a bike soon. Last one is starting HS next year!
