• Thousands of Comics Unleashed as Marvel Unlimited Hits iOS

Marvel comics fans have reason to rejoice today. On Thursday morning, the entertainment juggernaut launched Marvel Unlimited on iOS.

The subscription-based app serves up more than 13,000 back issues - all of which are conveniently sorted by character, series, creator, release date, and more. Users are even allowed to store a small number of issues reading when you're offline.

Members of Marvel Unlimited can now experience over 70 years of Marvel’s greatest comics like never before – with our patented Smart Panels technology, and the ability to read offline when not connected to a wi-fi or cellular network.
Serving as an extension of the Web-based Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited, the new app is available now for iPhone and iPad but, as you might expect, not for free. There's a $10-per-month subscription charge, although Marvel is currently offering a "limited time" annual subscription of just $5 per month when you pay $60 for a full year up front.

If you're not yet a Marvel Unlimited member, you can preview every issue in the archive and read dozens of full free issues to "explore the benefits of Marvel Unlimited risk-free."
