• Vine App Updated With Support for Front-Facing Camera

At the end of January, Twitter launched a new application in the iOS App Store called Vine. Vine allows you to create short video snippets and share them with your Vine followers. Vine opened a whole new realm of creativity for users.

Vine has been updated to version 1.1 Tuesday, which adds support for the front-facing camera. Previously, the user could only use the rear-facing camera, and this limited the flexibility for videos of one's self using Vine. Now that we can use the front-facing camera, it's likely that we'll probably see people making funny faces in our Vine feeds...

Another new feature in the updated Vine application is the ability to make mentions of people in comments and posts. This will help you to get people's attention when you post something via Vine, or you could also use the feature for tagging people in your videos. People that are mentioned receive a notification.

Other minor improvements to Vine include improved people searching to make it easier to find people you know on Vine, as well as stability improvements that have been implemented to prevent crashes that have happened prior to todayís update.

Existing users of Vine will find the update in the Updates tab of the App Store. Alternatively, you can download Vine for free via this App Store link.
