Apple unexpectedly released a new version of iOS earlier recently, iOS 6.1.4. The new version of iOS only included a single item in its change log which was an updated audio profile for the iPhone 5. Those of you who are currently jailbroken on iOS 6.1.2 already know to stay away from the update but for those of you who already updated, there’s a new version of TinyUmbrella out that you’ll likely want to use.
Notcom posted on the TinyUmbrella blog that he updated the popular SHSH blob-saving tool to support for the recent iOS update. If you happen to be on iOS 6.1.4, you’ll want to grab it. Remember, it’s better to be safe than sorry and even though iOS 6.1.4 is unlikely to be jailbroken, there isn’t any way of knowing what will come in handy down the line and what won’t.
As mentioned before, those of you who are on iOS 6.1.3 or below don’t need to worry about this!
