• Weekly Tweak Recap June 10 - June 16

In case you've missed out on the new jailbreak tweaks Cydia has seen, this recap will highlight the tweaks we've shown you this week. These are in no specific order.

    1. NCEnough – 99¢

NCEnough is a simple new jailbreak tweak that lets Notification Center only extend to the length of its contents. The tweak takes widgets and notifications into consideration, and the user can still continue using the application they’re in even when Notification Center is open by tapping anywhere outside of Notification Center. The tweak also comes with an option to place the Status Bar at either the top or the bottom of Notification Center depending on the user's preference.

    2. AirPlayServer – FREE

AirPlayServer is a new free jailbreak tweak that can turn the device you install it on into an AirPlay receiver. This way, you can easily stream media from one device to your AirPlay device. There aren't any complicated settings to configure, just enable or disable the tweak at any time.

    3. PocketNotify – 99¢

PocketNotify gives you the ability to easily see if you have any notifications on your iPhone right from your pocket. You can configure an Activator action that you can invoke from within your pocket, and if you have any notifications, your device will vibrate. If you don’t have any notifications, your device won’t do anything. This tweak is perfect for people that don’t want to be rude in the middle of business or class meetings, but still want to know what’s going on with their phone.

    4. Push for Gmail – 99¢

Push for Gmail is a simple tweak that can be used to enable push notifications for Gmail users that have their account set up in Apple’s Mail application.

    5. Face Off – FREE

Face Off lets you easily turn off your iPhone’s display by placing it face down on a flat surface. When you pick it back up again, the display will turn back on so you can start using your iPhone immediately without dealing with the lock screen.

    6. Smudge – FREE

Smudge is a jailbreak tweak that blurs the home screen when you open the App Switcher rather than making it transparent. This tweak is completely aesthetic and gives users another option for the appearance of the App Switcher.

    7. AutoBrightness – FREE

AutoBrightness gives iOS devices a more dynamic screen brightness depending on the ambient lighting conditions around you. The tweak claims to be able to handle screen brightness better than Apple’s auto-brightness can. You will need to disable Apple’s auto-brightness to use this tweak or they could conflict.

    8. NoVIP – FREE

NoVIP gets rid of the VIP mailbox in the Mail application for users that don’t have any use for it.

    9. CallReminders – FREE

CallReminders is a new jailbreak tweak that can detect if names in your Reminders application are in your Contacts and then offer shortcuts for calling them. It's perfect for reminding yourself to call someone and then having an easy way to call them right from the Reminder.
