• AOL Releases New All-in-one App for iPad

AOL has Thursday released a new iPad application called AOL:Mail, News, Weather & Video that brings many AOL features into one place.

The new application gives you access to your AOL E-mail account(s), Weather, News, Videos, and much more, all from one application without the need to download several separate applications from the App Store.

The application takes full advantage of the large iPad canvas to give you as much content as possible. News comes in a stream format with large images, content can be shared over E-mail, Facebook or Twitter, and you can customize your news to your interests. Users can even save articles to be read for later.

If you would like to give the new AOL application for the iPad a try, you will find it in the App Store for free via this App Store link.

Am I the only one who cringes at the grammar in these news articles? It should not be "AOL has Thursday released..." That does not sound right, like, at all. Should be something along the lines of, "On Thursday, AOL released..." It wouldn't be a such big deal if it wasn't literally the first sentence you read lol. Just curious if anyone else had seen this all the time.

Now I just need to figure out how to hook up a dial-up modem to my iPad so I can connect to AOL and hear "You've got mail!".
