• Plants vs. Zombies Comics Hit the App Store

PopCap, the makers of the all-so-popular Plants vs. Zombies game for iOS have released Plants vs. Zombies Comics for iOS. The application offers a collection of comics that users can read; they are about the game series.

Plants vs. Zombies Comics is free in the App Store and users can read the first issue of comics for free. It appears that users will have to download additional comics as they come out.

At the moment, only one other comic series is available apart from the free one that is unlocked automatically after downloading the application and it will cost the user 99 out of pocket to unlock. Additional comic series are coming soon and are also expected to cost the user money.

Reviews on the application are generally positive; the application already holds a 4-4.5 star review in the App Store since being released. Users are impressed by the quality of the application, although some are disappointed that you have to purchase additional comics.

If you are interested in giving the Plants vs. Zombies comics a try, you can download the latest version of the application for free from the App Store via this link.

Notably Plants vs. Zombies 2, the sequel to PopCap's popular game, is still delayed and is expected to arrive in the U.S. App Store later this summer. So hold in there!
