There sure have been a lot of iTunes Store outages lately.
Tuesday morning, as much as 20% of iTunes users experienced the inability to make purchases from Apple’s iTunes Store, as indicated by Apple's System Status Indicator.
The outage started at around 6 A.M. PDT and lasted for a good three hours before coming back online. A similar outage occurred in the first week of August.
It’s unknown exactly what the outage was about; Apple has yet to explain the reasoning. Fortunately, all systems are now back online and fully functional for everybody.
