• Apple Confirms Sept. 10th Media Event

    It's official.

    Apple confirmed this morning that it will indeed hold a widely anticipated media event next Tuesday, September 10th. Apple is expected to unveil something colorful, per the media invite's appearance.

    The next-generation iPhone is expected to be officially unveiled on that occasion, nearly one year to the date of Apple's iPhone 5 introduction. All but confirming the diverse color assortment of the new iPhones, Apple's invite reads: "This should brighten everyone's day."

    Also rumored to debut is the low-cost, entry-level iPhone 5C.

    So in the coming days, be ready for a golden master of iOS 7, which should reach developers a few days after next week's media event.

    While Apple is yet to confirm the official launch date of the new iPhone(s), it's a safe bet that the device will reach consumers on or before September 28th.

    Stick with MMi next Tuesday for the big reveal and all the juicy details as they emerge from the hottest event in mobile.

      My iPad is still JB'd on 5.0.1 where it will stay. My iPhone 5 however has been on iOS 7 since its beta release. Best of both worlds if you ask me :]

      I updated my iPad to iOS 7 simply because most of what I did if not all while jailbroken has been done in iOS 7. My iPhone 5 has been running the beta full time since beta 1, if there is a jailbreak released for iOS 7 I will probably only jailbreak the iPhone for tethering purposes alone. I have flasharmyknife but I can't tether my iPad using that.

      Hope they do live feed like the last time for announcing iOS7. That was really nice.

      Why not iOS 6 JB? Is there ap roblem with that update you're avoiding? I'm on iOS6 jailbroken and it seems ok.

      They're stuck, regardless. No jailbreak if they updated/downgraded to 6.1.3

      I love the apple web theme, video pane, and Celeste 2, all recently released. A few weeks ago I was on board the iOS 7 train. Now, not so much. I also use the activator commands for some good multitasking. Ill wait till ios7 JV and all these aforementioned tweaks get updated.

      Looking forward to this. I'm one of the idiots that updates annually so I'll be getting the 5S in the next few weeks. Hope a JB follows shortly but history shows it won't be till Jan/Feb 2014.

      He can't upgrade to ios6 since they are only signing ios6.2 for 4s and 6.3 for other idevices.. the jailbreak doesn't cover ios 6.2 or 6.3

      Sorry, bud; That's incorrect. It's 6.1.4 for ip5 and 6.1.3 for all others

      Is that a 3.1 amp outlet? I have been looking for one that is 4.2 amp to be able to charge two iPads without any luck.

      They're only 5v/2.1A but 'seem' to charge my iPad 4 fine. I'll have to try it out on my iPad mini and iPad 3, as well

      I'm still rockin my jailbroken 4S. Gonna ride that S train and go for the 5S so I will have to forgo my JB till they release one for ios7.
