On Wednesday, the popular Mailbox e-mail client for iOS was updated bringing the application up to version 1.6.0.
The update makes the application even better with support for Apple’s latest iOS 7 mobile operating system, which was just released earlier today. The support includes not only compatibility, but also an updated interface appearance, which includes a new application icon and better use of flatter colors.
In addition, the update speeds up the application’s overall performance. Orchestra, the developers of the application, note that the application is now lighter, faster, and more focused. The application appears to open faster, load e-mails faster, and even open e-mail content faster.
Mailbox still only supports Gmail with this update, but they continue to promise that more e-mail clients will be supported in the future.
Existing users of the Mailbox application for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Mailbox for free from this App Store link.
