• Newly Released Apple TV 6.0 Update Fixes Bricking Issues

The Apple TV 6.0 update which was originally released last week was pulled over the weekend and now once again made available for download. As noted by the folks over at 9to5Mac, the recently released version is given the build number 11A502. This build number, in comparison to the old 11A470e indicates that Apple has made a few changes to the software.

Following the software’s initial release on Friday, there were multiple reports that the update caused critical errors for several users, which led to users having to use iTunes to restore their device. The recently released updated iteration of the software resolves the issue.

For those of you who didn’t know, the Apple TV’s 6.0 software offers a number of new features including iTunes Radio, iTunes Music Store purchases, iCloud Photo updates, Podcasts and AirPlay from iCloud. Those of you who have an Apple TV and are interested in downloading the new software can do so via the Update Software tool in the Settings menu.

Sweet! Stoked to have the music store accessible from the Apple TV now... Loving the new radio on my iPhone and now on my Apple TV too... Not a huge update but it's something and it's nice...
