On Monday, the popular Skype application for iOS was updated with a new refreshed look and feel for iOS 7, bringing the current version of the application up to 4.13.
Skype was already a rather flat-looking application, so by the untrained eye, some of the more subtle changes can be difficult to see. Some notable interface changes include the taller navigation bar at the top of the interface that houses the Status Bar and navigation buttons. Users will also notice that the application now takes advantage of iOS 7's flat keyboard design instead of the legacy keyboard.
Apart from the iOS 7-ification of Skype, the application has also received a number of bug fixes and stability improvements to make the application faster and more reliable. Skype also notes that they’ve added improvements to the application for accessibility.
Existing users of the Skype application will find the update in the Updates tab of the App Store. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Skype for the iPhone and iPod touch for free from this App Store link, or the latest version of Skype for the iPad for free from this App Store link.
