• Reeder 2 for iOS Gets a Ton of Improvements in a New Update

For those that are still using RSS feeds to stay up to date on the latest information, Reeder 2 is a great iOS application to use. You can even use it to stay up to date on your latest ModMyi headlines. Reeder 2 was launched in September with an all-new interface for iOS 7.

On Thursday, Reeder 2 has been given a significant update that includes a huge number of fixes, improvements, and new features. The update brings the application up to version 2.1.

In terms of new features, users now have the ability to apply themes to the application, take advantage of landscape mode for photos and videos, group feeds by date, the ability to add an article to your Safari Reading list, and several new customization options.

The developer has also added a number of improvements, including better swipe detections, an improved article layout, a hidden status bar when in the full-screen image viewer, better handling of read articles, auto-dimming, and more.

Bug fixes have been implemented to add more stability to the application as well. Crashing problems, as well as a number of other problems that have been present in the initial release, have been squashed with today's update.

Existing users of Reeder 2 for iOS will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Reeder 2 for iOS for $4.99 from this App Store link.
