
Normally when you attempt to log into the App Store, you won’t have any problems, but that’s not the case for some users that are reportedly experiencing a Fatal Error message upon trying to sign in, as shown above.
The issue appears to be very common among users on Apple’s support forums, although Apple’s System Status indicator is showing that all systems are online without problems.
The problem appears to be occurring on both iOS devices and Mac OS machines, indicating that the problem isn't only with the iOS App Store, but system-wide across all of Apple's digital content stores.
One user explains that changing their Apple ID password had solved the issue, but a long-term fix for everyone will likely need to be looked at by Apple.
