• Bing for iPad Updated With iOS 7 Redesign, New Features

Following the recent update to Microsoft’s Bing application for iPhone and iPod touch, the company has updated its Bing application for the iPad, a separate application in the App Store. The update brings the Bing for iPad application up to version 2.0.

Bing for iPad has been given a complete facelift for iOS 7, just like the iPhone and iPod touch version of the application. The new interface gives it that flatter appearance that iOS 7 gives our iOS devices all around, and also introduces transparency in different layers throughout the application as well as an all-new application icon that matches the iPhone and iPod touch's new Bing application icon.

Apart from interface changes, Bing for iPad has been given useful new features, including the ability to save the daily image to be used as your iPad's home screen and/or lock screen wallpaper, the ability to save bookmarks and images and access them via your Microsoft SkyDrive account, better sharing options for Facebook and Twitter users, improved maps, and a new gift finder feature.

Existing users of the Bing for iPad application will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Bing for iPad for free from this App Store link.

I assume the big news out of this story is that apparently Bing still exists for some reason?
