• Plants vs. Zombies 2 Updated With Map Upgrades, Turbo Mode, and More

Plants vs. Zombies 2 has been updated bringing the game up to version 1.7.261064. Plants vs. Zombies 2 was released in August in the United States and has already been downloaded several million times, illustrating that the game's popularity is no joke whatsoever.

The latest update to the game brings improvements to the game’s map, which PopCap notes will make game progression much faster and easier for the player. This includes making it easier to see your progress, location, and rewards (both earned and yet-to-be-earned) on the map. Apparently, while the map was being updated, PopCap tells us that "somebody let in the Gargantuars," suggesting a new boss?

The update also adds in all new Piñata Party levels that players can play for additional hours of fun. A new turbo button now allows players to speed up the planting process and the zombies at the same time; if you’re sure you can handle the speed, try playing in turbo mode to increase the challenge. Players will also find that they can now invite friends and send them gifts.

Existing players of Plants vs. Zombies 2 will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 for free from this App Store link. Although free, Plants vs. Zombies 2 includes many in-app purchases.
