The creators of the popular smart watch, Pebble, which came to fruition as a result of a Kickstarter campaign last year, recently published a press release stating that it will be bringing “something special” to this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, on January 7. The CEO of Pebble, Eric Migicovsky, is scheduled to make the announcement on Monday, January 6, the day before CES gets underway in Las Vegas, Nevada. There will be a keynote that will start at 11:00 AM Pacific time and will be live streamed on the company’s website, which users can access by clicking here.
Although there aren’t any indications as to what may be on its way, recent speculation suggests that Pebble is likely to introduce its second-generation smart watch, which is expected to feature a touchscreen display and be compatible with Pebble’s upcoming App Store when it’s launched later this year.
We’ll have to wait and see what’s to come but it has us and probably many of you excited.
