It wasn't long ago that Jay Freeman (saurik) released an update for WinterBoard adding compatibility for iOS 7 and 64-bit iOS devices. Themes can now be properly updated to support the new operating system, and new themes for the new operating system can be released.
Surenix is already teasing an iOS 7 update for the popular ayecon theme. Ayecon gives iOS devices over 150 custom application icons, for stock applications, App Store applications, and even Cydia applications; it also includes masks for several user interface elements, including navigation bars, buttons, tabs, sliders, folders, the Lock Screen, the Status Bar, and more.
As Surenix notes on Twitter, because ayecon is skeuomorphic by design, the theme is not going to receive a complete makeover for iOS 7. In other words, application icons are not going to be flattened out for the iOS 7 style like Apple did with all of theirs, they'll just be optimized for the new shape and size.
You can expect the ayecon to be updated with iOS 7 support within the next week. Existing customers of ayecon will be able to download the update for free from Cydia. For those that haven't purchased it yet, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository for $2.99 and currently support iOS 4-iOS 6.
For a complete list of supported interfaces and application icons, you can head over to ayecon's Web page via this link.
