Tuesday morning, shipping estimates for Apple's newest Mac Pro powerhouse computer started slipping to April 2014 for several countries according to Apple's online store Web site. Shipping in the United States, also, slipped to April 2014 shortly after.
The April 2014 shipping estimates apply to both the basic configurations of the Mac Pro (quad-core and 6-core CPU), as well as customized configurations that users can select on Apple's Web site prior to purchasing. The quad-core Mac Pro starts at $2,999 and configurations go up in price from there.
Demand for the new Mac Pro has been quite high, mostly from enterprise and professionals, but some individual users that just want the raw power of the new Mac Pro have also been hopping on board for Apple's new machine.
It's unknown when Apple will be able to catch up with demand, but if you want one, you should get your order in before shipping estimates get pushed even further. The new Mac Pro is made in the U.S.A.
