• Steve Jobs Statue Unveiled Before its Installation at Apple's Cupertino Headquarters

Revealed fittingly on his birthday, a statue commemorating Apple cofounder Steve Jobs was unveiled in Belgrade recently, with the art piece bound for the companyís headquarters in Cupertino, California. A scaled down model of the final obelisk was unveiled recently by famed sculptor Dragan Radenovic according to a report by Netokracija.

The work, which was selected in a contest with over 10,000 entries, incorporates a bust of Jobsí head mounted on a pillar. Sprouting from the sides of the pillar are Cryllic letters and the numbers 1 and 0, which represent the binary numeral system. According to Radenovic, Apple management appreciated the imperfections of the piece over more computer-centric design entries.

The scale model sculpture will be sent to Apple in California for final inspection and upon approval, Radenovic will craft the final version. The completed art piece will stand between three to five meters tall and is to be installed at an unknown location on Appleís Cupertino campus.

For those of you who didnít know, Apple CEO Tim Cook recently posted a pair of tweets containing quotes from Jobs in remembrance of the company cofounder. Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California and passed away in October 2011 after a long fight with cancer.

Whats all that ugly crap sticking out of the side of it? I give this statue a 0/10. If this is the winner out of 10,000 entries then I'm kind of wondering if all of the entries came from psychiatric hospitals. They weren't made of human feces were they?

He earned the right to be both of those. What's annoying is when a man or woman who hasn't really done squat exhibits those qualities.

Tell me what Steve did again?
Too many give a Salesman credit for what Wozniack and other geniuses did.

Steve Jobs abused people and for some of her life, refused to be a father to Lisa. It's one reason I hate fanboys blind to the end.
