• Yahoo! Weather App Updated With Precipitation in Forecasts, Animations, and More

On Thursday, Yahoo! updated its popular Yahoo! Weather application for iOS, bringing the application up to version 1.5.2.

The update brings the already-spectacular weather application a number of new improvements. One of the most notable is that under the 5-day and 10-day weather forecasts, the precipitation chances are now shown next to the weather illustration icon, as displayed above.

In addition, when windchill information is relevant to the weather outside, it will be shown on the summary screen. New animations have been added for the moon phases, and now the pull to refresh feature will also refresh the background image in the application whenever you have an Internet connection.

The improvements to the application are there for iPhone, iPod touch, and even iPad users to enjoy. If you're an existing user of the Yahoo! Weather application, then the update is readily available to you from the Updates tab in your App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Yahoo! Weather for free from the App Store from this App Store link.
