On Wednesday, iOS app developer Flexbits released their highly popular Fantastical 2 Calendar application alternative on the iPad. Fantastical 2 was originally released for the iPhone and iPod touch back in October of last year with full iOS 7 support and a resigned interface with new features.
The iPad version of Fantastical 2 is being given quite the positive hype from first impression reviews. Flexbits notes that the iPad version of Fantastical 2 is not just a stretched-out version of the application, and instead, it is a completely new application re-written for the best usability on the iPad's larger canvas.
With that in mind, you can expect Fantastical 2 for the iPad to offer a pleasant user experience, but Flexbits also decided that because it's a completely different application experience, they would make the Fantastical 2 application for the iPad a separate application from the Fantastical 2 application for iPhone and iPod touch, as a separate purchase.
Fantastical 2 for the iPad is available right now in the App Store for the introductory price of $9.99 – soon, it will go back up to the usual $14.99. While pricey, if you're looking for a really nice Calendar experience on your iPad, then you might want to give Fantastical 2 a look!
