• Apple to Live Stream WWDC 2014 Keynote Next Week

Can't make it to this year's WWDC? No worries. If you thought there's no way to catch this year's keynote as it happens, you're in luck. Apple announced Tuesday that it will, indeed, live stream the keynote next week.

"Watch streaming video from this special event and learn more about our exciting announcements," Apple posted in an update to its official website this morning.

WWDC 2014 kicks off Monday, June 2 with the keynote at 10 A.M. PST.

As usual, Apple confirms, streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later; or QuickTime 7 on Windows. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

For those in attendance this year, you will have some 100 technical sessions to choose from, all of which are presented by Apple engineers and dealing with anything and everything pertinent to iOS and OS X.

We hope you'll check back to MMi frequently next week for all the news and insight out of WWDC 2014.

Ya they have never supported Windows Quicktime before. Always just been on OSX and iDevice's through Safari.

      You would be correct.

It's supposed to be for iOS 8 and the next Mac OS version.
