• Spotify Music Streaming App for iOS Updated With Improvements for iPhone/iPod Touch

On Thursday, the popular third-party music streaming service Spotify updated its iOS application with some improvements to the iPhone and iPod touch version of the application. The latest version of the application that you can now download from the App Store is now version 1.4.0.

In this version, you now have the ability to play and even have full control over the order of your music queue right from the mobile application.

Improvements have also been made to adding music to your playlists. If you try and add a song that's already there, which you might do by mistake every once in a while when you forget you've already added a song to a playlist, Spotify will now alert you that the song is already there and ask you if you want to add it twice.

Last but not least, Spotify for iPhone and iPod touch users can now take advantage of better filtering for your music to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Existing users of the Spotify application for iOS will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Spotify for iOS for free from this App Store link.

Sadly, iPad uses still can't use this new "my music" feature. It has been months...
