• Analyst Claims iWatch to Start Mass Production in November

Popular and well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has been pretty accurate when speaking about upcoming Apple products in the past. He has recently released new reports claiming that the smart watch, dubbed the iWatch will be in mass production starting in November of this year. This is 2 months later than what Kuo had previously stated. According to Kuos recent report:

We have pushed back our estimated time of iWatch mass production from late-September to mid-/ late- November. We also lower our forecast of iWatch 2014 shipments by 40% to 3mn units.
He reported that the delay is from complicated software engineering and hardware, since its the first generation wrist device for Apple. He also gave a list as to what he expects to see in the device:

    Flexible AMOLED display
    Sapphire coated display cover
    Higher waterproof standards
    New system-on-a-chip components
Previous reports had claimed that the sapphire crystal display and the flexible AMOLED display would come with the iWatch. It is also expected to have a new system on a chip to incorporate multiple sensors in order to track calories burned, swear, hydration, and more. The device should be announced sometime in October and release during this years holiday season, however, no exact date has been given yet.
