• Microsoft's Office for iPad Gets Major Update With New Features

A major update was recently released for the Microsoft Office on Appleís iPad, which includes Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. In all three programs, users can now export files as PDFs along with a slew of new additions. The recent update moves iPadís Microsoft Office suite to version 1.1. In Word 1.1, third-party fonts (from the Fonts menu) can be used as well as undoing any changes made to the document with a simple reset button.

The newly updated PowerPoint allows users to edit and view speaker notes, go to future slides during presentations, and more. Background music, videos, and sound effects can also be played during a userís presentation in PowerPoint 1.1. As for Excel, all data in a column or row can be selected by flicking a cellís selection handle in any direction.

You can download the newly updated apps for free from Appleís App Store.
