• Beats iOS Music App Gets Added to Apple's 'Apps Made by Apple' List

Apple has recently added the Beats Music iOS app as part of their ‘Apps Made by Apple’ list, which helps promote the app due to its high-profile placement. The placement is to encourage customers to download the app and show that the Cupertino-based company has ownership of the streaming music service. The app Is housed in the Quick Links section of the App Store, right next to apps like Remote, Pages, Keynote, iPhoto, and more. It is also featured in the Best New Apps list on the App Store’s front page this week.

Appshopper has reported that the popularity of the app has increased by a ton in just the last few weeks and continues to do so. The Beats Music app is currently ranked 23 in the overall general apps and 4th in music apps. Reports are also claiming that ever since Apple has acquired Beats and secured the app in a prominent placement in the App Store, they have seen an increased number of subscribers.

Beats Music is free to download, but requires a $9.99 monthly subscription in order to stream music. They don’t offer free ad-supported listening like other streaming music services Pandora and Spotify.
