After Apple’s current iPhones are a little more settled in, new reports from Taiwan’s TechNews translated by G For Games, states that Apple’s upcoming 12.9-inch iPad Pro may be released in the second quarter of 2015. It also seems like the tablet may sport a better A8X processor, one which is reportedly an improvement in terms of graphics when compared to Apple's current iPhone 6 and 6 Plus A8 processor. The Cupertino-based company did not use an ‘X’ version on the 2013 Retina iPad Mini or iPad Air and instead opted for the same A7 chip found in the iPhone 5s.
TechNews also restated that the upcoming iPad Air 2 would sport a larger RAM compared to current ones- an upgrade from 1GB of RAM to 2GB. Currently, the newly launched iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as well as the current iPad Air and iPad Mini models all still sport just 1 GB of RAM. The next iPad Mini has also been rumored to stick with 1GB of RAM. So if these reports are true, the iPad Pro will definitely be something different from all other Apple devices. The iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 both with Retina display, are expected to be announced in October and if lucky, the iPad Air 2 may be released by the end of the year whereas the iPad Mini 3 is reported to hit shelves sometime in early 2015.
