Recent rumors from East Asia have been circulating the web claiming that Apple’s 12-inch MacBook Air has begun manufacturing. The manufacturing however, is only limited to small amounts of devices for the first few months. According to sources though, supplier Quanta Computer is looking to manufacture more. For now, the limited supply is apparently going to remain the same until November and then gradually increase in the later months.
It has been rumored that the 12-inch MacBook Air is going to be even thinner than the current MacBook Air lineup. It is also supposed to sport a high resolution Retina Display and a click-less trackpad. Due to the compact design of the device with advanced internals, it is presently a bit of a challenge for suppliers. Reports are saying that the 12-inch MacBook Air will be shipped out sometime early next year and won’t be released in time for the holiday season this year.
