If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our October 2nd edition.

    1. Scribbleboard

First on our list this week is a new iOS 8 keyboard application called Scribbleboard. This keyboard lets you doodle little drawings and then send them as image files over your favorite instant messaging or text-messaging application(s). With this keyboard enabled, you'll get a blue text keyboard, but you'll see a button at the bottom for doodling. You can tap on it to start drawing your masterpiece before you send it to the recipient as an image file. You can configure a background color, as well as a drawing tool color. Definitely give this one a try if you're an iOS 8 user, because you can really have some fun with this one. If you're unsure about how to install a third-party keyboard, you can read our guide at this link.

Scribbleboard can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    2. Adventure Xpress

Next up on our list this week is a new game from Adult Swim called Adventure Xpress. In this game, you'll match up runes in the puzzle to inflict damage on your enemy. You can equip all kinds of weapons and armor, and cast spells and more. There are different effects based on the weapon that you use, and you can upgrade your weapons to make your character more powerful against your opponent. The more runes you match, the more damage you'll inflict. There are tons of character customization options, and even a Game Center leaderboard to keep you playing and competing with your friends. Check it out!

Adventure Xpress can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    3. Absorption

Another game for those of you iOS gamers out there that's worth taking a look at is one called Absorption. In this game, you get a score based on the enemies that you absorb. The longer you survive, the more power-ups you receive running into anything, even your enemies, will kill you, so you'll want to avoid doing that as long as you can. Check it out!

Absorption can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    4. AstroJump

You may also like AstroJump if you're an iOS gamer. In this game, you will avoid asteroids. You will tap and hold to move down, and release to move up. You will have to try and last as long as you can to get the highest score that you can. Oh, and don't forget to keep your energy charged! Check it out!

AstroJump can be downloaded for free from this App Store link.

    5. Vidgets

Last, but definitely not least on our list this week, is a new iOS 8 widget platform called Vidgets. This is a widget that can be added to Notification Center in iOS 8 to let you perform different tasks. There are more than 20 widgets to use, but some of the popular ones are a shortcut for toggling your timer, information about your system usage, GPS information, Weather information, and much more. The Vidgets widget can be enabled or disabled on demand right from Notification Center in iOS 8. Check it out!
