We reported just a few days ago that NFL players are no longer allowed to wear Beats headphones before their games, and up to an hour and a half after their game finishes. This is the reason because Bose is the new headphone sponsor for the NFL and banned players from wearing other company’s headphones in front of cameras. However, just a few days after this report, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been fined $10,000 by the NFL for wearing Beats headphones after a recent game. Kaepernick is seen wearing a pair of pink headphones not by Bose, in the video above after their winning game on Sunday.
Kaepernick has been in many Apple’s Beats advertisements and apparently owns more than one headset from the company. It was noted by the quarterback that his pink headphones were worn to honor breast cancer awareness month. He stated:
I support breast cancer awareness! My grandma is a survivor!....... *shrugs* some things are now important!

The caption was seen with a picture of the article where he was fined, posted onto his Instagram account. It was recently also confirmed that coaches as well as players from the NFL are banned from wearing headphones by companies other than Bose. This includes during interviews and even pre game stretching.
