• Photos of New iPad Parts Leaked Ahead of October 16th Event

Apple is hosting another event next week on October 16th, just a little over a month after their successful iPhone 6 lineup debut. But this time it is expected that the company will be announcing their next iPads. New leaked photos have been circulating the web in regards to the next generation iPad, just days before the scheduled Apple event. The new photos from a Taiwanese website Apple.club.tw, include Touch ID, the cover glass, and a logic board.

One of the photos that stand out particularly shows a gold ring surrounding the Touch ID sensor. If this picture is the real deal, then you may see yourself a matching gold iPad to your gold iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. Rumors have already gone around since September claiming that the next generation iPads will be offered in gold like its successful iPhone lineup, along with Touch ID sensors.

A photo of a glass screen was also leaked, but the cover seems to belong to a 9.7-inch device. Last but not least, an iPad logic board with an ‘A8X’ chip and micro-SIM reader was also shown on the East Asian website. This is no surprise as Apple’s current line of iPads also sports this logic board. Although the Cupertino-based company’s next event probably won’t be as highly anticipated as their iPhone event last month, they are expected to announce the next iPad lineup, OS X Yosemite and talk about the Apple Pay again.
