• Facebook Messenger Now Lets iOS Users Annotate and Draw On Photos Before Sending Them

On Thursday, Facebook issued an update for its Facebook Messenger application bringing the popular third-party chatting service application up to version 14.0 in the iOS App Store.

The update brings users the ability to annotate and draw on pictures before they send them to someone through the Facebook Messenger application.

From now on, when attempting to send a photograph using the photo selector in the Facebook Messenger interface, you won't only see a "Send" button there anymore; you will also see an "Edit" button:

Tapping on the edit button brings you to an interface where you can input text or draw all over the photograph before sending it off to your Facebook friend.

In addition to this update for Facebook Messenger, Facebook yesterday updated its main application with official support for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus retina HD resolutions. The company is also rolling out a new Safety Check feature for those in the general area of natural disasters that want to alert their friends and family that they're alright.

To download the latest version of Facebook Messenger if you're already a user, you can simply head over to the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Facebook Messenger for free from this App Store link.
