• Spotify for iPad Updated to Make the App Look More Like the Mac OS X and iPhone Version

On Thursday, Spotify for iOS was updated to version 1.9.0 with a significant new redesign of the iPad version of the application. The new version of the application is now up to speed with the design features of the Mac OS X and iPhone version of the application, taking advantage of a new dark user interface with green and gray accents throughout the user interface.

The updated version also brings the application closer to an iOS 8-style interface; Spotify on the iPad has been lagging behind in terms of user interface, and has remained with an iOS 6-style user interface all throughout iOS 7, so this update is certainly welcomed for those that were bugged out by that.

Additionally, this update brings your music to the iPad, so that you can easily create and listen to your own playlists right from your iPad.

Existing users of the Spotify application for iOS will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Spotfy for iOS for free from this App Store link.

If you're a student in college, don't forget to learn how you can sign up for Spotify Premium for the 50% off price of just $4.99 per month at this link.
