If you're jailbroken using the Pangu iOS 8 jailbreak tool, then you can now use the Pangu application on your iOS device to install the latest version of Cydia installer on your device.
The latest version of Cydia Installer, version 1.1.15, was released earlier today with official fixes for the passcode and Touch ID problems that could cause boot loops on a jailbroken device. With that being said, this official update is recommended for all users of the iOS 8 jailbreak. It also includes a variety of other fixes that will make using Cydia on your iOS 8 device much more pleasant.
The Pangu jailbreak tool for iOS 8 does not currently bundle Cydia with the jailbreak automatically, so this is a good workaround for the time being. Pangu is expected to release an English version of Pangu for Windows soon with official bundling support for Cydia in the near future, which will make jailbreaking iOS 8 much more user friendly for the masses.
Because Cydia can now be installed directly from the Pangu application, it is no longer necessary for users to SSH the third-party application into their devices anymore.
We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of the upcoming jailbreak tool, so stay tuned!
