Apple’s newest 2014 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display has been newly added to Apple’s refurbished section of the Online Store. The new prices go up to $570 off retail price, just three months after the Cupertino-based company introduced the refreshed MacBook Pro. The base price of the refurbished laptop starts at $1,699. The entry level has 2.2GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 256 GB flash storage, 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM, and integrated Intel Iris Pro graphics. The new price is practically 15% off or about $300 off.
One up from the base model is the second tier MacBook Pro with a 2.5GHz CPU, a 512GB SSD, 16GB memory, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M. This version is discounted at about $400 off, for a total of $2099. You can add on more storage to your device, but obviously at a separate cost. Last but not least, the top tier model has a quad-core 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA GT 750M GPU, 1 TB SSD, and 16GB of RAM. This price of this device will save you about $570 off retail pricing and goes for $2719.
Holiday season is right around the corner and if you are looking to be cost-effective, these options make great gifts.
