• Products Purchased at Authorized Resellers Can Now Get Support from Apple's DEP

Apple has recently announced that its DEP (Device Enrollment Program) is now accessible to educational institutions and businesses that have products purchased from Apple Authorized Resellers. They also announced that support for more countries have been added to the list, making it a total of 26 countries. Previously, only devices purchased directly from Apple were limited to support from DEP. Now, as long as the equipment was purchased at an authorized carrier or reseller, it qualifies for Apple’s DEP. According to Apple,

Whether you purchase devices directly from Apple or through participating Apple Authorized Resellers and carriers, you can manage all your corporate-owned devices through the Device Enrollment Program. Contact your reseller or carrier to see if they're currently supporting the program or working with their Apple representative to support it in the near future.
One thing to note though, is that the service must be supported by the authorized reseller because a DEP Reseller ID must be activated when an Apple Deployment Program is created. Along with the new support, Apple’s DEP has been added to additional countries. Now the list includes the following countries:

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, UK, and the U.S.
