Shazam has updated its highly popular music tagging application for the iOS platform on Tuesday with official support for the retina HD resolutions of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
The newfangled retina HD display support means that the application can show more content on the display at a glance and also, elements of the application's user interface don't appear to be zoomed in anymore and rather appear with a more native resolution and look and feel.
iOS 8 officially integrates Shazam into Siri, which is packed into the operating system already, but those that want to be able to tag music without speaking, the Shazam application does a great job.
Both the free Shazam application, and the paid Shazam Encore application, have been updated and can be downloaded from the following App Store links:
- Shazam (free)
- Shazam Encore ($6.99)
