• Walmart Begins Black Friday Discounts Early on Apple Products

We are now about one week away from Black Friday, and Walmart recently announced that certain Apple products would be discounted ahead of the crazy shopping day after Thanksgiving. Starting tomorrow, November 21st 8:00 am, deals will begin to kickoff for consumers. According to Walmart:

The retail environment is incredibly competitive and we know that our customers are looking to us for the lowest prices and great deals all season long," said Duncan Mac Naughton, chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. "That's why we've more than doubled the amount of items included in our Pre-Black Friday Event. Combined with our Black Friday weekend, there is absolutely no other place to shop this holiday season.
Starting tomorrow, consumers will be able to purchase the 16GB iPad Air 2 with WiFi for $489 and will be given a $100 Walmart gift card with the purchase. Best Buy is offering the same iPad model for $389, which is essentially the same thing for frequent Walmart purchasers. $20 will be knocked off the new 16GB iPhone 6 and will be $179 with a 2-year contract. Those who purchase the device will receive a $75 Walmart gift card along with the device. Consumers will also receive a $75 gift card when purchasing the iPhone 5s for $79 with a 2-year contract. Those on Verizon Edge and AT&T Next will not have to pay anything when initially getting the device, and will still receive the Walmart gift card.

If you plan on purchasing any of mentioned items, wed recommend buying it sooner rather than later. All discounts will only be available for as long as supplies last. As Apple products are always popular, it is likely that they will sell out fairly quickly. Will you be buying anything this year during Black Friday? Let us know in the comments below.
