• Product (Red) Gift Cards for Black Friday Announced by Apple

Apple has announced recently that they will be teaming up with Product (Red) this year for the Black Friday holiday, which is now just a few days away. Those who purchase qualifying Apple products this year on November 28th, will be receiving a $50 (Red) gift card that can be used in the U.S. App Store, iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store. This year’s qualifying products will include Apple’s latest iPhone 6 and 6 Plus as well as the older 5s and 5c, which was not included last year. Those who purchase an iPad will also receive a $50 gift card. Apple TV, Beats, iPod Touch and iPod Nano buyers will only receive a $25 gift card. As for Mac buyers, customers will receive a $100 gift card on certain models.

All (Red) gift cards will be restricted to only two for each household. Apple lowered the amounts being given out to consumers this year. Last year for Black Friday, Apple gave out $150 gift cards to Mac purchasers, $75 for iPad Air purchasers, and $50 on iPod purchases. If you plan on shopping at the Apple Store this year, we’d suggest going on November 28th as this deal will be a one day sale or for as long as supplies last. Along with the gift cards, the Cupertino-based company will also be donating parts of the online and retail sales from November 28th-December 1st to The Global Fund. The company did not announce what percentage of the transactions will be going to the proceeds. Click our source link for more information on which products qualify for the announced promotion.
